PHOTOGRAPHY PLAN

Inspired by the scent of three perfumed products, I photographed each to highlight the colours and the brand's mission. I edited the raw images in Photoshop to enhance the colour and add grainy texture. I photographed the first note of each perfume and layered them on top of product images to show freshness.

I planned to represent the sense of freshness and citrusiness people get after smelling Vetiver Pamplemousse. One of my inspirations came from the 2K perfume samples inside the magazines that people rolled over themselves.

BRAND AND PRODUCT RESEARCH

I planned to represent the sense of freshness and citrusiness people get after smelling Vetiver Pamplemousse. One of my inspirations came from the 2K perfume samples inside the magazines that people rolled over themselves.

I studied the notes in these products, followed by the colours some of them already had that were related to the objective of my project. I increased the ISO on my camera to add graininess, and after some exploration, the graininess made the images appear more fresh. I kept my model in B&W to bring the focus to the colour of fruits and products.

Layering the images was the most challenging part. The hierarchy has to work, and the colours have to be in the same scheme while being layered on top of each other. These perfumes represent minimalism, modernity so I decided to choose a sans serif type to make that connection. The scrip type is there because perfumes have personality too, they smell different on each skin so the type is showing that personality and uniqueness fell in love with the green colour of the pears after printing it on 36 x 24.
